It feels as though it’s been a really long Winter but with the first luncheon being arranged for May after a Court meeting, and planning now under way for a Prize Winners’ Lunch in July, perhaps we can now look forward to being able to meet up and enjoy good food and fellowship once again – I sincerely hope so.
The big date for your diary is October 13 when, it is hoped, we will be able to celebrate together in the fabulous surroundings of the Mansion House for the Company Dinner (let’s call it a Banquet this year!). More details will be on their way in the next few weeks, but it may be some time before we know whether there will be any limits placed on numbers allowed in the Egyptian Hall (and thus whether extra guests will be allowed). I’ll update you as soon as possible.
More members are using the website regularly, but please do use it as your go-to place for information about the Company. When we are ready, we will be using it to manage bookings for functions – including taking payments, so it would be sensible to know your way around the site before then.
Clerk’s Challenge (V2): Two more Wren churches for you this time and thanks to the Beadle for the photographs – If any of you would like to join in please do so – as at this rate it is going to take 13 years to finish this project!
