The Big Interview: Peter Kenyon

The current Master, Peter Kenyon, was elected at the Court meeting on 13th September 2024 and crowned on 13th November at the Confirmation and Associated Companies dinner held at Innholders’ Hall. Shortly after, What’s Cooking spoke with Peter to find out more about him, his background, career, interests, and his ambitions for his year at the helm of the Worshipful Company of Cooks.

Liveryman David Mulcahy Spearheads Pioneering Programme to Improve School Food in Gambia

On Saturday 16 November, Christ’s Hospital School in Horsham, played host to a special event to mark the centuries old relationship between the school and the Worshipful Company of Cooks and, as part of the celebrations, a special plaque was unveiled in commemoration.

 

Spotlight on New Members

The Cooks’ new officers and members were sworn in during the Court meeting on13th September 2024 and formally crowned at the Confirmation Dinner with Associated Companies at Innholders’ Hall on 13th November 2024.

Obituary  

Obituary: Hon Freeman Professor Emeritus Haroon Ahmed

Haroon Ahmed died on October 23rd 2024 at home in Cambridge surrounded by his family. He had been an honorary freeman of the Cooks’ Company since 2007.
