City cancels Lord Mayor’s Show
The Lord Mayor’s Show, the City of London tradition that brings Livery Companies together and shows the public that they are more than white ties and polished silver, has been cancelled for the first time in 150 years.
They partied like it was 1999 and no one had heard of COVID
Members of the Company who were at the Mansion House Dinner a few weeks ago heard
the Master say it was the first time in living memory that the Cooks had dined there.
